Halloween Party Ideas !
Here are some pictures of last years party! Most of the stuff came from the $ store. I really had a lot of fun & so did the kids. We all pitched in to make it a creative, fun, & semi scary Halloween party. We ate ghoul eyeballs which were meatballs in a crock pot simmered in (I know this sounds weird) chili sauce, grape jelly, & onion soup mix equal parts, sweet & sour & the longer they cook the better. We also had mummy dogs wrapped in cut strips of crescent rolls or flattened biscuits, cupcakes topped with gummy eyeballs teeth and body parts, worms, bats, brains, & rimmed with with Halloween sprinkles. We had sodas with scary potion labels & such i printed off this website http://www.flickr.com/photos/lovemanor/sets/72157602788222231/ & taped around existing soda labels. We covered walls with tablecloths from the $ store & made popcorn hands. We found ours at the $ store, but you can also use food handler gloves & put candy corns for nails & add a spider ring easy & inexpensive party favors. I put spider webs on lamps, bookshelves and fireplaces. I made a cpeepy clown hallway using newspaper clippings and homemade clown masks $ store mask & plain white mask molds to hang painted black clown features & made clown noses myself & glued them on the masks. White or neon masks are best. Then I hung them along with all the newspaper clippings. I also used highlighters on clippings & black & white clown pictures. Sorry the pictures don't do it much justice. It's very creepy looking! My niece is creeped out by clowns so we had to drag her down the hallway of course. In the bathroom we put up a clear shower curtain & put fake blood in it & cut knife cuts in it. We put bloody hand prints on mirrors & shower as well. We replaced the light bulb with a red one & put a flickering jackolantern light behind the shower curtain. We also put a bates motel sign on the bathroom door. I don't recommend for really young kids but my kids liked it a lot. They were a little hesitant to use the bathroom though. Outside we made a sick ghoul with bright green vomit (Yummy I Know) using a bunch of pillows & newspapers to stuff some of my husbands black clothing, we also stuffed a goblin mask with some eyeballs glued in. Now for the hard part place a tub of water in front of him soaked with 4 green highlight marker sticks (take from a highlighter) then place pump in water & trail pump through his shirt starting from the bottom then bring it out through his mouth. Make sure it will trail water back into the bucket or tub. This was difficult we used coat hanger, string & tape to help everything work. Then we put 2 black lights behind him so the green vomit would glow. We got a lot of compliments on this. This picture does it no justice.

Hi , I'm new to Blogger & excited to start my own blog! I'm from the south, some people say there is a two tooth minimum, but that's all wrong, I have four. I have many more great party ideas & crafty ideas I would love to share, so stay tuned! This is a diaper cake I made using a mix of dollar store items & department store items. This makes a beautiful centerpiece. I mainly followed the basic steps and concepts in the video. If you want the awesome step by step instructions that I was so lucky to find check out her YouTube video below. You could make this yommy edible LOL rubber duck cake too, recipe found on Spearmintbaby.com. We made this with twix instead of chocolate finger biscuits. The birthday rubber duckies can be found at centurynovelty.com. This is my first blog so don't give up on me yet. I also have some great recipes for any occasion. I'll dish out later with pics. I will figure this blog stuff out if my brain doesn't explode first. Thanks for checking it out! See ya soon!!!
